Based in the picturesque village of Hales, close to Market Drayton in Shropshire, Hales Sawmills is a family business with over 25 years experience in the supply of quality timber products for a wide range of applications.

Using mainly home grown timbers, all from Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC^®) certified suppliers or well managed and sustainable resources, we manufacture and supply an ever growing range of general sawn, agricultural, fencing, decking, gate and garden timbers to suit a wide range of customers - timber merchants, fencing contractors, farmers, local councils and landscape gardeners, as well as the general public.

We also have our own FSC Certification and with an ISO 9001 quality management structure in place you can be assured of top class products and service, whatever your timber project. We also have our own company Timber Policy.

We combine the very latest production facilities with traditional craftsmanship to offer a wide choice of standard products but with the option to tailor make to meet your exact requirements.

With our own pressure treatment facilities, utilising the latest generation of wood preservatives, we can also ensure your timber products will have a long and low maintenance service life. We now have full accreditation for the treatment and supply of motorway fencing timbers.

We are happy to quote for any size project and, once ordered, we can deliver nationwide from our own transport fleet, which now includes integral off load facilities.

And, if required, we can even arrange experienced contractors to help with your fencing, decking or landscaping project.

On-site we have a well stocked retail area where we carry a wide range of related products, including metal fastenings and fixings, tools, canned products and much, much more.
